A truly special bear, Owen is worked in double knitting yarn and is based on a traditional teddy bear. He is knitted entirely in the round and has jointed arms and legs. The method used for jointing is simple but effective and with a little patience he will soon be completed to be loved and adored.

The instructions are written for DK yarn. However, ths bear can also be successfully knitted in aran weight yarn (approx 160g or 256m) using 3.75mm needle. The aran bear is about 50% larger than the DK bear.

Full written instructions including pictures are provided for making and assembling the bear.
